For the first month, I recommend that you train 3 times a week. Ideally, one on one. This way you get personal attention to learn correct movements and postures for your workouts and you develop a strong base from which to move forward. The benefits you reap are much greater with this foundation and with a consistent training schedule. You may then, depending on your goals, choose to train 2 times a week if desired and or with a friend.
